Speed and Strength

17x11 high quality digital painting of one of my favorite fighters in Tekken: Ling Xiaoyu. A beautiful piece set in her premier stage in Tekken 3, I captured her signature crouching stance which is the pre-emptive for a powerful springing strike. This work is filled with excitement, action, and style. Speed combined with strength and technique will be helpful for her to be victorious in the fight. With lighting, I used neon colors and gradients to reflect on her giving a sense of the carousel adjacent to her. This piece is for everyone including the martial arts enthusiasts, as well as the fans who played and enjoyed this stage and the game.
