The Suit

In this digital painting of Peter in the suit, I experimented on a center of light and the shading on that light. It was quite the challenge emulating webs, so I had to reference spider webs. The story of this piece was that even if one is struggling against the darkness, there is a light at the end. Even if its faint, it is there at the center, calling, reaching out. Do you answer that call? In a sense, the webs not only serve as a platform for Peter, but if you focus, you may see the webs are a symbol of a crack in a window. The light is near.
